PTFE coated fiberglass thread is made from continuous fiberglass filaments that are heat resistant, chemical resistant and strong.The fiberglass is also coated with PTFE, finish to improve sewability, and reduce friction. It can withstand operating temperatures to around 1022 F(550ºC).It is important to note the PTFE coating burns away at 620 F(320 ºC),so the fiberglass will have a greater heat resistance.
Applications:
Flame retardant sewing thread for high temperature resistant filter bag, fireproof inorganic roller shutter,fire and high temperature resistant gloves,fireproof quilt, thermal blankets, fireproof high temperature sealing ring.
Insulation high temperature resistant sewing thread for rubber products (such as reinforcement materials for v-belts, synchronous belts, etc.)
Main feature:
High strength, high temperature resistance of 600°C,100% fire retardant, outstanding electrical insulation performance.
Yarn with fluoride:
In addition to above characteristics, it has better wear resistance and corrosion resistance, soft and suitable.
